3 Things I Wish More Girls Heard at 13

If I could speak to every 13-year-old girl, here’s what I’d say:

1. You are already enough. There’s nothing you need to do, prove, or perform to be worthy of love, respect, or opportunity. You were born with value. Period. Even when the world tells you otherwise. Even when you feel left out, unseen, or misunderstood—your worth remains.

2. Mistakes don’t disqualify you. They prepare you. Every misstep, every mess-up is a setup for learning and growth. You’re not behind—you’re building. You’re learning how to pivot, how to choose better next time, how to be compassionate with yourself. Mistakes aren’t the end—they’re a beginning.

3. Your voice matters. Don’t shrink it to make others comfortable. You don’t have to fit in to belong. You don’t have to stay silent to be accepted. Your voice is power—use it, protect it, trust it. It can light up rooms, change minds, and lead movements. Start by using it for yourself.

If this resonated, save this blog and share it with a girl you care about, or comment ‘13THINGS’ to get more tools, affirmations, and resources designed to uplift the next generation.

We’re not waiting for the world to change. We’re raising girls who will change it—and giving them the words, tools, and community to do it with confidence.
